James 1:2-8 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. 4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. 6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. 7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; 8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

When James says; “count it all joy when you fall into various trials,” he’s not
saying count it joy because of the trial itself. To tell you the truth trials come in the form of temptation, they come in the form of pressure. They can also be painful, confusing, and frustrating. Sometimes trials involve betrayal or the loss of a love one. But, what he is saying; don’t worry be happy. Because at the end of the day if you can just hold to God’s unchanging hand - He is going to work all things together for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. So if you have accepted the calling of the Holy Spirit and received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you have been called out of darkness into His marvelous light.
And according to Romans 8:28 God is going to work all things out for your good. Everything you go through, he’s going to work it together for your good. In short, God is BIG enough, He’s BAD enough and He loves you enough to work everything together for your good. God will flip the script just for you and for your good. Please know this, God waste nothing, He will use that trial to shape and form you for His purpose. When you hold on, God gets the Glory and you get the victory in Jesus’ name!
May God bless you as you meditate on His Word.
